Frozen ii anna. The movie is a bit of a mixed bag. Overall, I liked it. I liked the songs. Who knows, if they'll have the same kind of phenomenon as "Let it Go. but I know I had "Into the Unknown" stuck in my head when we were leaving. I think the animation was beautiful. But, I think the slight downside was the story. Tonally, this movie was trying to go mature. There are themes of death, growing up, separation. And that's not a bad thing. I was even excited to see the story take a bit of a darker tone. However, the emotions never really hit me. Inside Out was a movie that I think excellently hit that mark, but I never really had that moment here. And the film focuses so much on the past. Like literally the new adventure they are on is about finding out secrets of the past. And I think the muddles the story a bit. It's hard to go into it more without giving away spoilers, but I found there was elements that didnt make sense from what we had seen or been told to us. Also there's nothing wrong with Kristoff's song itself but they choose to style it like a cheesy boy band music video. And like. it was also tonally felt weird. Again, you're taking the story in a more serious tone. and then this comes out. Like, its fine with Olaf. He's the comic relief and all. But, I dont part just felt weirdly out of place with the movie. And because there's also this theme of separation, the trio literally gets separated from each other. And when Kristoff finally popped on screen again towards the end to help Anna, I swear in my head it was like "Oh yeah. Kristoff is in this.
Again, I overall did really like it. I know it doesnt sound that way, by all my complaints above. But even though I found the story messy at times, I still liked where it was trying to go. And there was still good lighthearted moments, and funny Olaf moments. Oh and I want a water horse, so theres that.

La canción preciosa, Amaia genial. Es que cierro lo ojos y la escucho cantar y es paz,tranquilidad,me flipa escuchar a esta chica, tiene un algo muy especial. This is the second story of a trilogy ( I didn't read the books) I liked the first and this movie went deeper in family history and the towns past. I would have like to see more of the love triangle between "work" husband and actual husband, they are both cute and she has chemistry with both. The problem I'm finding with a lot of foreign movies is that they've copied Hollywood tropes and cliches and they really haven't made them work to their advantage. This is a prime example. The lead detective does nothing but give orders around. Scenes are placed randomly with no continuity making the movie hard to follow. There's no explanation for a lot of scenes, you somehow have to guess what happened or try to infer from the rapidly spoken Spanish. Overall, a poor attempt at a thriller. Watch it if you have nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon.
